Bill Dollahite

President

Founder and visionary behind Driveway Austin with over 30 years experience in the motorsports and high tech industries. Bill retired from full-time competition after reaching the pinnacle of his career piloting the World Championship 333SP prototype for Ferrari. He trained Hollywood personalities and corporate superstars as well as countless new career race drivers. He was the architect for some of the most successful corporate motorsports campaigns today and has pioneered successful, outreach motorsports training programs to mentor at-risk high school students.

 Joseph Williams

Driver School Course Development / Lead Performance Instructor / Lead Tactical Driving Instructor

Joe Williams has over 25 years of experience as a professional driving instructor and has been featured on the Today Show about his work with the national teen driving program.  With an infectious sense of humor and some of the best technical skills in the industry, Joe has helped pave the way for Driveway Austin's comprehensive course development.  He is noted as one of the top tactical driving instructors in the country and compliments that with a broad technical knowledge of the vehicles.  Joe was with the Bondurant School as a lead instructor for more than 20 years before relocating to Austin and becoming a key person with Driveway Austin.

Doc Bundy

Training Consultant

A relaxed charm with the intense competitiveness of a world champion. Doc started his racing career in 1973, as a technician with the late Peter Gregg's Brumos Porsche Racing Team. He moved to Al Holbert Racing in 1974, where he spent the next five years preparing cars while waiting for a seat. In 1980 Doc began driving for Holbert Racing in a Porsche 924, capturing a National Championship as a rookie. In 1981 he ran a 924 Turbo and proceeded to capture the GTO Category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This impressive achievement brought Doc national recognition, and the chance to drive for Jaguar, Ford, and Chevrolet (Corvette) over the next six years, culminating in a season behind the wheel of an awesome Porsche 962. In recent years, Doc has campaigned cars for Lotus, Panoz, and Porsche.

Julie Dollahite

Office Manager

Julie brings more than 25 years of human resources and finance experience to Driveway Austin.  Julie also has more than 20 years of parallel experience with professional motorsports and event planning including the World Class Ferrari LeMans Prototype team.  Her experience both in Fortune 100 and professional motorsports makes her a valued asset for Driveway Austin.

Venancio Lopez

Facilities Manager

Venancio has extensive experience with facility development, maintenance and management.  He has been responsible for all aspects of track and infrastructure construction and maintenance.  Whether it's waterlines or optical fiber, asphalt or concrete, city codes or sub-contractor management, Venancio is in the middle of every phase.  In addition to this, he has designed and overseen the development of the campus layouts and building designs and ergonomic integrations which all meet the cities regurous building codes.

Scott Dollahite

Chief Driving Instructor

Scott is an accomplished professional driver with over 15 winning years behind the wheel starting in karts at age 5 and winning his first event.  He graduated to Formula cars as a teenager and again dominated his very first event after qualifying on the pole by over 5 seconds.... in the rain.  Beyond his personal driving accomplishments, Scott has been noted as one of the best driving instructors and coaches in the industry.  Always with a genuine smile and a real sense of enthusiasm, he has helped race students master the craft of race driving, teens understand true car control and Department of Defense officers learn to get out of harms way with their vehicle.   On any given day, you will find him testing new vehicle technologies, working up a new course of instruction or evangelizing Driveway Austin with another win at tracks around the country.
